Dragging extension divider does nothing

Project Member Reported by thakis@chromium.org, May 17 2016

Issue description

Chrome Version : 50.0.2661.102 (also on canary)
OS Version: OS X 10.11.4

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Have a few extensions
2. Get the update that makes them all visible next to the hotdog menu
3. Try to get rid of them by dragging the right edge of the omnibox to the right

What is the expected result?

Cursor turns into drag icon, and dragging to the right moves the omnibox edge and hides the icons.

What happens instead of that?

Cursor turns into drag icon, but dragging has no effect.

(works fine on linux)

Unable to repro on dev or canary (or trunk) on my mac. :( Clicking and dragging seems to work fine. To be clear, you're talking about the grippies between the omnibox and the first toolbar action, right? (i.e., not dragging the extension icon itself)

Aha: This only happens with over synergy. If I use the local mouse, it works fine. That means this is arguably a synergy bug, and much less important.
ah, good to know. Do other similar dragging surfaces work over synergy? Or is it specific to this surface?

I haven't noticed any other drags not working over synergy.
