Text cursor can't advance past LEFT-TO-RIGHT OVERRIDE character |
||||||||
Issue descriptionVersion: 52.0.2729.3 OS: Linux What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Enter this text into a text field: abc ا def NOTE: This contains a U+202D LEFT-TO-RIGHT OVERRIDE character. Specifically, this string is: abc \u202d\u0627 def (2) Place cursor in the "abc" part. (3) Hold right arrow. What is the expected output? The cursor advances through the string to the right-most character. What do you see instead? The cursor cycles through the "abc" repeatedly forever (it never gets through the U+202D). Only happens in web contents textfields (i.e., not Omnibox).
