Web pages crash require reload: eg Facebook, Twitter, BBC

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.2; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/50.0.2661.102 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Click into Facebook (May crash / freeze here) 2. Select News story eg BBC article loads & freezes 3. Facebook & BBC need to be restarted What is the expected behavior? Pages load without crashing. Note not just the examples above happens when using Twitter & links too. Have over 50 crash reports. What went wrong? Pages freeze and crash. Did this work before? Yes 2 weeks ago, I have crash reports from 7th May Chrome version: 50.0.2661.102 Channel: stable OS Version: 6.2 (Windows 8) Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0 I have been through the steps recommended and reloaded chrome. IE is still working on this PC.

@rhw0910: A clean profile would not show your personal data, since you are not logged into Chrome. Looks like there is some problem in your applications/extensions that were installed on your Chrome, please try to remove the infected one. Thank you.

Marking the above issue as WontFix due to lack of user response & also the above issue is not reproducible on Windows 8 with chrome version '51.0.2704.103'. However, feel free to report a new issue if encountered with any other issue again with newer version of chrome. Thank you! |
