Google Keep high CPU

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/50.0.2661.102 Safari/537.36

Example URL:
https://keep.google.com/

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open Google Keep
2. Try to open/edit an existing note

What is the expected behavior?

What went wrong?
Very slow to respond, cpu stays over 80~100 for several seconds when there is any click on Google Keep

Does it occur on multiple sites: No

Is it a problem with a plugin? No 

Did this work before? N/A 

Does this work in other browsers? Yes 

Chrome version: 50.0.2661.102  Channel: stable
OS Version: Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0

Problem started with recent (a few weeks probably) Chromium, can repro on Linux and Windows.

Tested the issue on windows 7, Linux Ubuntu 14.04 and Mac 10.11.4 using chrome version 50.0.2661.102  and canary 52.0.2735.0 with the below steps

1.Opened URL https://keep.google.com/
2. Edited the existing note
3.Clicked on other links not observed any delay 
4.Not observed high CPU Usage

Please find the attached screen cast and confirm anything missed here.
Request you please try the issue once on clean profile without any extensions and update the thread if the issue still persists.

I can't consistently repro this issue. But it did happen on different machines I tested. Anything I can use to get more relevant info for troubleshooting?

Unable to reproduce the issue on Linux/Ubuntu 14.04 - 50.0.2661.102

legendmove@, Can you also please provide the Linux OS details so that we can try it at our end ?
Unable to repro for now in 50.0.2661.102, it might have been introduced in 50.0.2661.94 and fixed in 50.0.2661.102
possibly related to  issue 607247
