Cannot start

Issue description

Device name:Asus Z00AD

From "Settings > About Chrome"
Application version:52.0.2735.0
OS: Android 5.0

URLs (if applicable):

Behavior in Android Browser (if applicable):



Steps to reproduce:
(1)Open program
(2)
(3)

Expected result: program opens


Actual result: screen flashes and returns to device home screen. Error message appears : Cannot open program.

Very similar behavior on Windows, 52.0.2737.0. Chrome simply does not start.

Disregard originating comment. Play Store updated x86 architecture with arm version. Rolled app back to last known good x86 version.

In my case, renaming "Local State" fixed the problem, whatever it was. Apparently, the old one was broken, and I can make the problem reappear by putting the broken "Local State" in place. Contact me if you are interested in the broken file.
