Content Modularization Project: Quota Service |

Issue descriptionTracking bug for the quota part of the Content Modularization Project. Some task items: -add mojo interface for storage features like IDB/LocalStorage etc... to query/update their usage, and for browser UI to read/set limits. This is needed so that callers can move processes and not depend on being in the same process. As an example, this is necessary for IndexedDB to run in the renderer and for LocalStorage to run in the profile process eventually. Also we can eventually run the per-profile quota service in the sandboxed profile process to improve security and stability. -move code from storage/browser/quota to components/quota for consistency with other services

The Storage team monitors Internals>Storage. The Internals>Services>Storage label will be deprecated & removed.

Our thinking of what it means to modularize content has changed since this was filed. I don't see much benefit to move the browser side code of this outside of content at this point. |
