Negative filters no longer work in Network tab for file extensions

Reported by thatguyy...@gmail.com, May 12 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2734.0 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open DevTools network tab on a page with requests for files with more than one extension type (ex: .html and .jpg)
2. Type a negative filter for one of those file extensions, e.g. "-.jpg" (without quotes).
3. Notice that the .jpg files are not filtered out like they were before.

What is the expected behavior?
That negative filters could be used to remove requests that match the filter.

What went wrong?
The requests were not removed like they were in previous versions of Chrome.

Did this work before? Yes Recently, within the past week, though I don't have a version #. I updated Chrome Canary fairly quickly.

Chrome version: 52.0.2734.0 Channel: canary
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0

Here is where the feature was shown by a Chrome dev: https://plus.google.com/+AddyOsmani/posts/fnsCDjkz3mf

Filtering still works for other parts of the filename before the period in the file extension.
