Regression:'search' and 'close' icon is not seen properly in "Weather" extension

Issue description

Chrome Version:51.0.2704.47 (Official Build)23ee1b3315bb84717e9a03a7f4a6dcc066823ee0-refs/branch-heads/2704@{#513} 32/64-bit.
OS: Windows(7,8,10), Mac(10.10.5, 10.11.4), Linux(Ubuntu 14.04 LTS)

TEST URL:https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/weather-extension/beapnbfmjmjhhfpaoajfhjbbfnnlfpnc/related?hl=en

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1)Launch chrome and navigate to the above URL.
(2)Click on "Add to chrome" to apply extension and click on the extension icon near bookmark bar.
(3)observe the 'search' and 'close' icon.

Actual:'search' and 'close' icon is not seen properly.

Expected:'search' and 'close' icon should be seen properly.

This is a Regression issue broken in M-44,below is the Narrow bisect info:

It does seem to be r194903. However this was an intentional spec fix. Easiest is if the extension authors simply remove !important from here /1.1.4_0/skin/base.css:

@font-face{font-family:'Glyphicons Halflings Chrome';src:url(../fonts/glyphicons-halflings-regular.woff) format('woff'))!important}

I assume Google has some way of contacting them. CCing Timothy too, we could allow !important like before, but this is really not allowed by the spec, and FF does not allow it either (not sure how this extension behaves with FF, my FF nightly does not allow installing it for some reason).

Status: WontFix (was: Assigned)
Going by all the one-star reviews on the extension, I'm just going to close this as WontFix. I think it's outside of our scope to help fix extensions which people call "completely broken".
