Missing resource in saved MHTML file |
||||||||||||||||||||||||
Issue descriptionVersion: 51.0.2704.42 (64-bit) OS: Goobuntu 14.04 What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Enable MHTML saving (--save-page-as-mhtml) (2) Visit http://html.rincondelvago.com/los-conceptos-basicos-de-la-ecologia.html (3) Save as MHTML (4) Open the saved MHTML What is the expected output? Show the web content like the original page. What do you see instead? "External protocol request" dialog shows up. The attached file is the saved MHTML. Reloading the original one and saving again doesn't reproduce. The attached file is saved when the machine is on a high loading, with slower network speed. After inspecting the MHTML file, the culprit seems to be an iframe where its src is a missing "cid:frame...".

This seems to be the same as issue 570353.

Some background on reproducibility: I was using a webdriver script to scrawl 1000 pages and save them as MHTML files. ~10 of them had this issue. |
