CSS combination causes box-shadow to not appear for buttons

Reported by aa...@spetner.com, May 10 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/50.0.2661.94 Safari/537.36

Example URL:
https://jsfiddle.net/spetnik/fd25tznu/

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Create multiple buttons in the same container with a box-shadow, border-radius > 0, font-size: 24px (varies with font-size), padding: 12px (varies with padding size), border-width: 0px, and position: relative

What is the expected behavior?
All of the buttons should have a shadow

What went wrong?
Only the first button has a shadow.

Note: Zooming in and out of the page, as well as playing with the font-size and padding, will adjust the number of buttons affected.

Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes

Is it a problem with a plugin? No

Did this work before? Yes Chrome 49 - I don't remember exactly when it stopped working

Does this work in other browsers? Yes

Chrome version: 50.0.2661.94 Channel: stable
OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2)
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0

I launched a guest session without any extensions and it still occurs. However, when I created a new Windows user and tried through the new account, the issue does not occur. I am assuming that it has something to do with my Windows account. I am happy to provide any more information, but since this issue was only of concern to me because it affects a site that I manage, I am not too worried if I am the only one affected.

Thanks!

Just a thought: I did recently mess with some of the GPU flags for Chrome. Maybe that did it?

Before I had a chance to disable the flags it started working again (possibly after a reboot). Looks like this is a non-issue.
