CSS flexbox, not sizing correctly

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2723.2 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:

What is the expected behavior?
'Text' and 'Background' should have an equal width

What went wrong?
they don't on chrome 52 dev-channel

Did this work before? N/A 

Chrome version: 52.0.2723.2  Channel: dev

Able to reproduce the issue on Win7, Mac OS X 10.11.4, Ubuntu 14.04 using Canary #52.0.2730.0 & Dev 52.0.2729.3

Issue broken in M52, 
Good build: 52.0.2725.0
Bad build: 52.0.2726.0

We reverted that patches on purpose, and current behavior matches Firefox.

I'm not sure why you say that both should have the same width.
@cbiesinger could you double check?
checking again, it seems fine

I tried to isolate this bug I encountered in my app, but I've probably missed a few things

will try again to isolate it

Sorry, can you provide a screenshot of expected vs actual behavior? I suspect rego's change *fixed* it, not broke it.
Also, for comment 6, which exact version did it look fine in?
now my chrome is at  52.0.2729.3 dev-m (64-bit)

it used to look different with the first tab with small width, I have no capture for it sorry

OK, I'm going to resolve this bug assuming that rego's patch indeed fixed it. It's due to the position: absolute.
