Set permission as denied if dismissed > twice |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Issue descriptionJust a thought - I was on jalantikus.com today and it asked twice for push notification permission as I navigated around. Instinctively I dismissed both requests which made me realize- should we simply set a permission to denied if the user explicitly dismisses multiple times? I feel like if a user has dismissed a permission request for the 3rd time on a site it should definitely be denied, perhaps even for the 2nd time (based on my personal experience on jalantikus just now) Curious what others think, could be worth adding to the backlog for jewelbox or crowd consent.

Good question. Probably because when presented the option of 'defer decision' it's always the lowest cognitive load decision, so unless I know I want push notifications (i.e. am in a flow where I've indicated interest) I always just dismiss. There's a lesson in here somewhere... :)

We are implementing this as "embargo", slated to launch in M59. :) |
