Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. find any _long URL_ link
2. mouse over link. 

What is the expected behavior?
Show the whole URL at the bottom of the screen in one shot.

What went wrong?
Extremely frustrating display in two steps:
First most of the URL is shown, followed by an ellipsis.
Then, after one second, the rest of the link is revealed.
