Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2729.0 Safari/537.36 Example URL: https://calendar.google.com/calendar/render?tab=mc#main_7 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Set Page zoom to 150% in Settings|Web Content 2. Open your Google Calendar page 3. What is the expected behavior? Page should be rendered at 150% What went wrong? Page is rendered at 100% Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? Yes Several versions ago Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 52.0.2729.0 Channel: canary OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0 If you increase the zoom by one click with Ctrl-Wheel the zoom is 175% (next after 150%). So it seems that the system thinks it's at 150%, but it's rendered at 100%.

Unable to reproduce this on Window-7(52.0.2730.0/2729.0), Windows-10(52.0.2730.0) as per the above test steps. Setting the page zoom level to 150% under Settings|Web Content and opening the Google calendar page, rendered the page @150% only. qwer1304@: Could you please recheck this on the latest canary or in incognito mode & confirm if the issue is still seen.

Tried in Version 52.0.2730.0 canary (64-bit) normal and incognito. In both the problem persists.

OK, here's something that I noticed about reproducing the bug: If you go directly to Calender by following the link at the top the problem does NOT reproduce. However, if you go to Calendar from gmail by clicking Google apps and then selecting the Calendar app, the problem reproduces.

BTW, I just observed the same behavior with a Linkedin link: If followed from gmail the problem reproduces; if opened in a tab - the problem does NOT reproduce.

Is this somehow related to zoom inheretance? I noticed that a forum I browse has ultra tiny text by default so I always keep it at 150% zoom. when I middle click links from said forum, the tabs that are opened have increased zoom. however, pressing CTRL+0 does not reset the zoom properly. I have to first increase the zoom (such as by using CTRL++) and THEN press CTRL+0, and then the zoom resets to 100%. but if I close the tab and middle-click the link again, the same problem happens. Not sure how recent his issue is, but i've been seeing it for more than a week. I'm on Chrome 52 dev (i can reproduce it on both mac and windows)

Can't repro this in Version 52.0.2733.0 canary (64-bit) anymore.

Thanks for the update, this was probably fixed in Issue 608798. Closing the issue as this no longer repros on the latest canary. Feel free to file a new issue if such issues are encountered in future. Thank you! |
