Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/46.0.2486.0 Safari/537.36 Edge/13.10586 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. open google chrome 2. wait 3. What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? the screen goes black & eventually a window pops up saying the application is not responding, not the usual google chrome window it's from Microsoft. Crashed report ID: How much crashed? Whole browser Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? Yes yesterday afternoon Chrome version: 46.0.2486.0 Channel: n/a OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 19.0 r0 I tried uninstalling/reinstalling chrome even different versions but still nothing. Even uninstalled/reinstalled windows 10. Only thing not working is google chrome.

I downloaded chrome using Microsoft edge. It's the updated one I think. I also checked for malware & viruses & none of the scans I ran showed any.

Seems the profile might have corrupted, could you please try the below. 1) Uninstall chrome 2) Delete the profile or complete Google Folder from you Computer The path would be similar to below(replace the username as you have given to your PC) (C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Google\) 3) Try installing Chrome from below https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/desktop/index.html

What's more important than which browser you downloaded Chrome on is which website you downloaded Chrome from. Did you download Chrome from google.com, or some other third-party website?
