Site gives snap on 125% zoom

Reported by mplung...@gmail.com, May 6 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/50.0.2661.94 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. go to http or https://wprldwide.espacenet.com
2. zoom to 125%
3. Watch the Oh Snap!

What is the expected behavior?
No snap

What went wrong?
Tab crashed

Crashed report ID: Does not appear in crash list - I am not asked to report the crash other than normal feedback

How much crashed? Just one tab

Is it a problem with a plugin? No

Did this work before? N/A

Chrome version: 50.0.2661.94 Channel: stable
OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2)
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0

At older .espacenet sites, the crashing zoom factor is different than 125%
If it is a "feature" of this site, I would love to know what it is that makes it happen.

I believe the URL in the report above should be https://worldwide.espacenet.com/.

The EP Register site at https://register.epo.org/ (run by the same organisation as the first site) also triggers this crash on Chrome stable 50.0.2661.94 m on multiple PCs.

However, both sites appear to work without issue on Chrome stable channel 49.0.2623.112 m.

Yes of course: https://worldwide.espacenet.com
Neither site crashes on Version 50.0.2661.94 (64-bit) on OSX El Capitan

The actual statement crashing the browser is this:

div.modAppNav ul{ background-position:0 -21626px;background-repeat:repeat-x!important;height:2em}

in the epoCss.css file.

As per the crash server data this crash exist in Stable channel from M49 but high crash rate was observed in M50 not in M51 and M52.

Keeping this issue open. May need action if it spikes in future.Tagging for the next stable milestone.
