Flash Player bug 'Couldn't load plugin' errors.

Reported by jarl.tyn...@gmail.com, May 5 2016

Issue description

Chrome Version       : 50.0.2661.94 (Official Build) m (64-bit)
URLs (if applicable) : Will load Youtube fine. Would not load the following URLs:
* http://www.itv.com/hub/family-guy/2a4259a0267
* http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/uk-politics-36050790

Other browsers tested:
  Add OK or FAIL, along with the version, after other browsers where you
have tested this issue:
     Safari: N/A
    Firefox: N/A
         IE: Working
       Edge: Working

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Browsing to any 'video on demand' site I use in the UK, such as BBC iPlayer.
(2) Trying to diagnose Flash errors using the Adobe Flash troubleshooting pages produces similar errors on the 'Can you see this?' pages.
(3)

What is the expected result?

* Video loads. I can watch Family Guy.

What happens instead?

* Video doesn't load. I get an unresolvable (by me) error of 'Couldn't load plugin'.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

* Navigating to chrome://components to force PepperFlash to update doesn't resolve issue as I am running the most updated version. There are no pending updates to Google Chrome. A PC restart does not resolve the issue. I'm currently forced to use Edge to watch video on demand services. Please advise a fix.

Unable to reproduce the issue on chrome version 50.0.2661.94 on Windows 7, MAC 10.11.4, Ubuntu 14.04 for BBC site provided. Able to navigate to the site and watch videos.

Cannot access Itv as it is allowed only to users in UK.

@ jarl.tynian: Request you to please try a system restart, relaunch chrome > reset chrome settings and try again. Please update us with your observations.

Thanks.!
