The problem will appear in case you switch the keyboard layout to "polski programisty". This is the default keyboard layout for Poland. With this layout all Polish special characters like śćąłęóżź etc. are created by holding down the right Alt key + appropriate key like s for ś, l for ł, a for ą and so on. Therefore any shortcuts which also use combination of right Alt + some letter will conflict with sequence needed to create additional Polish characters. This is esential for fluent writing in Polish language and therefore such conflict must be avoided by using either different (non conflicting) keyboard character key or different special key (such as left control).
Hope that this is clear now. I suppose that other languages also use right alt for their own special characters, so the second mitigation method is preferred (in my opinion). At best the shortcuts should be configurable and also aligned with operating system shortcuts (like Windows uses left Control for them). I suppose that there should be some system Api to detect which operating system is used and align to we'll known user shortcut settings (in Windows save operation is left Control + S)

Cleaning up "Needs-Review" label as we are not using this label for triage anymore. Ref bug for this cleanup 684919
I confirmed it in late 2017.

Today - works for me.
Cloud-Sync using RCtrl + S.

Best.
