Missing fonts on play.google.com/music

Project Member Reported by scottmg@chromium.org, May 4 2016

Issue description

Canary 52.0.2723.0 but I've been seeing it on and off for a little while.

See attached.

I'm not sure that this isn't just a site bug, but it's pretty bad, so you'd think they might have noticed this.

The text isn't always missing, just sometimes. It's supposed to be Roboto, downloaded.

Possibly! Is there anything I can try locally to confirm if it's a dupe?

Assigning this issue to MTV as the URL mentioned is not available in India.

MTV Team@ could any one please bisect this issue.

Thanks,
This seems to be fixed as of "Version 52.0.2726.0 canary (64-bit)". Did we do anything? Site bug?

Not that I know how, over to the webfonts team in case they made any changes that might have fixed this.

Issue 609686 has been merged into this issue.
https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+log/52.0.2723.0..52.0.2726.0?pretty=fuller&n=10000

The range does not contain any our change, but there seem to be some font related changes, e.g. glyph cache in HarfBuzz, eae@'s FontPlatformData::setupPaint change, and so on.

scottmg, do you still see this problem after the 52.0.2776.0 update?
If no, I'm considering to close this bug as Fixed.
Status: Fixed (was: Unconfirmed)
Haven't seen the problem recently whether Chrome or GPM, I'm not sure.
