Repro steps:
1) Navigate to chrome://md-settings via the omnibox
2) Click on "Advanced" in the side nav menu.
3) Click on a subsection of "advanced" in the menu, for example "Languages"

I am seeing the following error in the console,
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'scrollIntoView' of null(anonymous function) @ main_page_behavior.js:342

The same can be reproduced with variations of steps 1 and 2 as follows
1) Navigate to chrome://md-settings/advanced via the omnibox
2) Click on "Basic"  in the side nav menu.
3) Click on a subsection of "Basic" in the menu, for example "Appearance"
