Network Connection Failure

Reported by valentin...@gmail.com, May 4 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/50.0.2661.94 Safari/537.36
Platform: 8277.0.2016_05_04_0344

Example URL:
http://perpetual.pizza/

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Boot the computer
2. Open any webpage

What is the expected behavior?
Website should be displayed; isn't

What went wrong?
No internet connection, neither via WI-Fi nor ethernet

Did this work before? Yes stopped working somwhere between 4/17 and 4/24 builds

Chrome version: 52.0.2723.0 (64-bit) Channel: stable
OS Version:
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 14.0.0.177

If it's a driver problem this bug report might be actually uninteresting for you (since I'm not on officially supported hardware; I'm running Chromium OS), but here are my hardware details for completeness:
Network card: Intel 82567LM Gigabit Ethernet
Wireless network card: Intel Wi-Fi Link 5100

It looks that the device is not connected to the Internet. Could you provide net-internals log? The instructions can be found here: https://sites.google.com/a/chromium.org/dev/for-testers/providing-network-details

Sorry for the deletions, here's the right file now. This should contain one attempt to open google.com.

According to the logs, it looks that the network interface is down (at least all connections fail with "ERR_INTERNET_DISCONNECTED"). It is very likely a problem with the driver. Since the hardware is not unsupported and we cannot reproduce the issue, we won't be able to help.
Ok, I understand that.
