Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 6.0; Nexus 5 Build/MRA58N) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/46.0.2490.76 Mobile Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open inspector 2. right click an element 3. hover on 'copy' What is the expected behavior? To support the copying of elements with their styles such as IE 11 Inspector. What went wrong? Isn't supported. Did this work before? No Chrome version: 50.0.2661.94 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0 No reason for this to not be supported, saves a lot of time. I have to open internet explorer whenever I need this feature.

Can you elaborate what should "copy with style" do? Does it inline all the style in the "style" attribue of the element?

It copies the Styles separately in css selectors of the parent element and all its children. Check out the IE functionality if you want to Compare - its very useful for development especially when you are inspired from somewhere else.

We didn't include this in our plans for the upcoming year. If you think this is important, please re-file with justification. Thanks. |
