Different content behaviour inside element between OS'es

Reported by moskalko...@gmail.com, May 1 2016

Issue description

The bug seems to be OS related not browser related. I am reporting here because I don't know where else. The bug starts from Mavericks, Windows and Mountain Lion are fine.

The bug will not always exists, Friday you might see it, Saturday its gone. I am dead serious.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Open this fiddle https://jsfiddle.net/dufia/1u9d62pw/10/ on Mavericks and Mountain Lion
(2) Take a look at the green text wrapping

Here is how it looks like (using BrowserStack): http://i.imgur.com/YfynJMB.jpg

Could reproduce this on the latest canary(52.0.2723.0) on Mac OS 10.11.4. But same behavior is seen on Firefox as well. Works fine on Windows but Issue is seen on Linux(Both Chrome and Firefox).

This is probably Platform specific behavior hence labeling accordingly.

fonts issue, I guess?
I don't think it has to do with fonts.

I just found out, that it can be fixed by changing "Show scroll bars" setting to "Always" in the MacOS. It moves it back to the correct position instantly.

 This explains the seemingly random appearance of the bug as the setting was set to "Automatically based on mouse and trackpad".

What now?
There it is, a fix:

::-webkit-scrollbar {
    -webkit-appearance: none;
}

Well, at last :)
