screen flicker

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/50.0.2661.75 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. enter a site that displays pictures with a modal view (like facebook)   
2. open the photo 
3. when modal is showing the picture, flicker occur

What is the expected behavior?
the modal must take priority over what it is behind.

What went wrong?
modal and what it is behind, enter in kind of loop for showing preference

Did this work before? Yes in ubuntu 15.10 works fine, it appears after an upgrade to 16.04

Chrome version: 50.0.2661.75  Channel: stable
OS Version: Linux i5-6500 4.5.1-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Thu Apr 14 19:19:32 CEST 2016 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Flash Version: 

it Also occurs on Arch Linux with Gnome

I've figure out that this issue is related to hardware acelerated features provided by chromium at chrome://settings/
