CTRL - W should not work on pinned tabs

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/50.0.2661.94 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open Chrome
2. Right click and pin a tab
3. Press CTRL + W (from keyboard)

What is the expected behavior?
Pinned tab closes

What went wrong?
Pinned tab should not close

Did this work before? No 

Chrome version: 50.0.2661.94  Channel: stable
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0

 Issue 66588 . Filed in 2010.

6 years and still this issue is not fixed.

I would also prefer to be saved from mistakenly closing my pinned tabs.

What if you had to hold Command-W to close a pinned tab, similar to how Command-Q works?
I would also vote for this.  Issue 66588  dismisses the idea based on that it would limit users using keyboard shortcuts, but since there is now way of pinning a tab using keyboard shortcuts that makes no sense to me.

Please let us have no more closed pinned tabs with ctrl+w.
