Chrome "physical web" is prompting notifications even though it is turned off

Issue descriptionDevice name: HTC One M9 From "Settings > About Chrome" Application version: 50.0.2661.89 OS: Android 6.0.0; HTC One M9 Build/MRA58K URLs (if applicable): Behavior in Android Browser (if applicable): Steps to reproduce: (1) Walk past object that is broadcasting its URL (2) Receive notification, wonder what it means, and find out it is for for "Physical Web" (3) Check Chrome's settings for Physical Web and notice it is supposed to be off Expected result: No notification that "Web pages are nearby" Actual result: Notification that "Web pages are nearby"

The Physical Web setting corresponds to whether or not you've opted in. So, even though you've received the notification the first time, we ask for your opt-in before ever showing you nearby URLs.

Makes sense. Seems like the initial notification would also be a good time to link to more info (i.e., what the option is in the first place, and how to opt in/out). I had no idea what it was (or that I could opt in or out) until a friend very familiar with Chrome explained it to me.
