impossible to place the cursor after a <i class="fa fa-foo"></i>

Reported by cyril.au...@gmail.com, Apr 30 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2716.0 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. https://jsfiddle.net/crl/5bfbeuw6/
2. https://jsfiddle.net/crl/5bfbeuw6/1/
3. https://jsfiddle.net/crl/5bfbeuw6/2/

What is the expected behavior?
<i class="fa fa-google></i>|Some Text

I should be able to place the cursor | there. In 1. it's either after the first letter of the next sibling, or before the <i>. In 2.(with a space in <i>) we can type in the <i> and still not just after.

What went wrong?
Impossible to type just after the <i> tag

in 3. when the <i> tag is the first element, it's surprisingly possible. So it seems like a bug

Did this work before? N/A
