Confusion about "Search Key" on external keyboards |
||
Issue descriptionWhat steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Use Chromebox or other Chrome OS device with external keyboard with a Win or Apple key (2) Read documentation or help saying to use the Search key. Example: Use "Search+L" to lock your screen. What is the expected output? I expect the system to hint to me that my "Search" key can be found as "Command" or "Win" on external keyboards. USB refers to it as the "GUI" key (http://www.usb.org/developers/hidpage/Hut1_12v2.pdf). It would be even better if the system could detect my keyboard and tell me exactly which key it means. What do you see instead? Confusion since my external keyboard does not have a key labeled as such.
