Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 7978.62.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/50.0.2661.87 Safari/537.36 Platform: 7978.62.0 (Official Build) beta-channel peppy Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Download a hosted Chrome app from the chrome web store or go to Chrome menu > More tools... > Add to shelf 2. Right-click the app icon in the app launcher or shelf and click 'Open as window' 3. Click to launch the app What is the expected behavior? The window bar color should be affected by '<meta name="theme-color">' or a color declaration in the Web App Manifest, as is on Chrome for Android's add to homescreen feature. The result should be displayed like the packaged app's window bars. An example is the Material Design Files app on ChromeOS. What went wrong? The window bar displays the generic gray chrome. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 50.0.2661.87 Channel: beta OS Version: 7978.62.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r2

A good sample is the xda-developers website: http://www.xda-developers.com/

Unnecessary eye candy. I expect app windows to follow a systems theme. Please provide an option to turn this off if this sees the light of day.

It still follows a system theme, it just is better integrated with the app. It integrates much better with google material design. Try the ChromeOS files app. By the way, this is only on ChromeOS.

I Know, and don't care for the Files app deviation either. Theming is traditionally uniform across all windows. Having wildly different colors for different apps is jarring and rather childish.
