descending characters cut off in butterbar in hidpi

Version: 52.0.2720.0 (Official Build) canary (64-bit)
OS: Windows 10

At device scale factor 2 and above the descending characters (g, y, j) are cut off at the bottom in the butterbar. For an example see the attached screenshot.

It looks like this was fixed at some point, or maybe it was a quirk of my setup.
