Websites unresponsive if print dialog open in separate window

Other browsers tested:
  Add OK or FAIL, along with the version, after other browsers where you
have tested this issue:
     Safari: OK
    Firefox: OK
         IE: OK

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Click a link that will open a pdf with the print dialog open in a new window
(2) Minimize the window
(3) Website becomes unresponsive

What is the expected result?
Website works

What happens instead?
Website broken

Verified the issue with few pdf files and in print dialog did not observe any unresponsive behavior on Windows, Mac and Linux using Chrome Stable# 50.0.2661.94 and Chrome Canary# 52.0.2723.0.

@mattgibney -- Could you please provide any specific file where the issue is observed and also please do mentioned Chrome Version and OS Version.
