Canvas does not render SVG with big size

Reported by ahirepra...@gmail.com, Apr 29 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/50.0.2661.94 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
When tried to write the image with big size (e.g. 900x600) on the canvas, the chrome browser does not render the image, instead the browser does not respond or just crashes.

What is the expected behavior?

What went wrong?
I don't have the URL to replicate the issue as I am working on the client application. But when I am trying to write the image on canvas, the browser just crashes.

Without additional information it going to be very difficult for us to reproduce this issue. "900x600" can't really be considered "big" per se, so is this an image with "high complexity" (lots of shapes etc.)? What (approximate) size is the canvas it's being painted on? Is the <canvas> in question using hardware acceleration (output of about://gpu might be useful here if it is)?
