Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/50.0.2661.87 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Install Chrome on Windows 10 2. Pin it to the start menu 3. Be struck between the eyes by the enormous icon What is the expected behavior? The start menu icon should be of the same size as everyone else's icons. What went wrong? The icon completely fills the tile. The caption even overlaps it, making the part of the white text that is placed on the yellow segment of the icon unreadable. Did this work before? Yes No idea, but the icon has been smaller before. Chrome version: 50.0.2661.87 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: chrome.VisualElementsManifest.xml defines a "Square150x150Logo", which is the problem here. Removing this attribute fixes the issue. I understand that tiles are there to be used, but I think it is a matter of common courtesy not to drop this massive blob in there when no one else does. The icon should be reduced to the standard size for now, and if a) this start menu design remains stable for a while and b) other applications start using large icons, returning it to the current size can be considered. |
