Javascript search issue

Chrome Version       : <Copy from: '50.0.2661.86 (Official Build) (64-bit)'>
URLs (if applicable) : Google.com
Windows: FAIL
Other browsers tested:

     Safari: FAIL
    

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Searching for  href="javascript:void(0) 


What is the expected result?
Go to Google.com and search for given phrase -> href="javascript:void(0)

What happens instead?
Page freezes, nothing happened , only with Addressbar of Google.com in Windows, Mac, on Safari, Chrome searches

Able to reproduce this on the latest stable(50.0.2661.86) on Linux Ubuntu 14.04 but works fine on Windows-7 and Mac OS 10.11.4. 

This works fine on Beta(51.0.2704.29) and the Latest dev(52.0.2716.0) on Linux Ubuntu 14.04.

nuruddin.iminohunov@: Could you please check the same from your end and confirm. Same can be downloaded from: https://www.chromium.org/getting-involved/dev-channel

Reverse bisected this to find the CL that fixed that fixed this. Below is the bisect result:

Last bad build:  51.0.2665.0
First good build:51.0.2666.0

Note: Facing some issues with the bisect script, will update the tool result soon.
