Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/50.0.2661.87 Safari/537.36 Example URL: chrome://newtab Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open new tab page What is the expected behavior? New tab page loads What went wrong? New tab page doesn't load Does it occur on multiple sites: No Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? Yes A week ago Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 50.0.2661.87 Channel: stable OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0 It looks like the page is stuck in a loop while trying to loading chrome-search://local-ntp/local-ntp.html via the service worker. In the attachment, it is passed through a security appliance at our company and then endlessly loops the local-ntp page and spikes my CPU. I can get the page to load temporarily, by unregistering this service worker: https://www.google.com/_/chrome/newtab-serviceworker.js from chrome://serviceworker-internals. It is automatically re-registered after the first load, so it's not a permanent fix

Seems to be working now, so this can be closed. Not sure if there was a network issue or my cache was corrupted? I didn't have any extensions and they block incognito at my workplace.
