Regression: Opened PDF page of 'PDF Viewer' extension gets blank after restarting browser.

Issue descriptionChrome Version: 51.0.2704.29 Revision d7a063c1fedf1f6ccb6eb9f50a9028bd742652d7-refs/branch-heads/2704@{#260}(32/64 bit) OS: Windows (7, 8, 10), Mac (10.10.5)(10.11.4),Linux (ubuntu 14.04 LTS) URL: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/pdf-viewer/oemmndcbldboiebfnladdacbdfmadadm?hl=en What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Launch chrome, navigate to above url and click on 'ADD TO CHROME'. (2) Open any pdf file, click on download icon to download pdf then go to chrome://downloads page. (3) Right click on downloaded pdf and select 'Open link in new tab' option (pdf will gets open in next tab). (4) Click on omnibox and navigate to chrome://restart, after this observe the opened pdf page. Opened pdf page gets blank after restarting browser. Pdf page should gets blank. And once again, bugs relating to the "pdf-viewer" extension should not have the PDF plugin label.

r320220 is a change that only affects Chrome Remote Desktop; there's no way it could be causing this.

Could reproduce this on the latest M-52(52.0.2725.0) on Linux Ubuntu 14.04. I'm no longer working on Chrome, and unlikely to fix any bug I'm currently assigned. So this bug doesn't languish, I'm unassigning myself. |
