Issue description
Chrome Version : 50.0.2661.86
OS Version:
URLs (if applicable) :
Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
Safari 5:
Firefox 4.x:
IE 7/8/9:
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Select Mandarin Chinese as the output voice
2. Navigate to http://ccbiblestudy.net/New%20Testament/42Luke/42CS00.htm
3. Pres CVox+r to start continuous reading
What is the expected result?
Continuous reading of the entire page in Mandarin
What happens instead of that?
ChromeVox reads short paragraphs with no problem, but stops part of the way through long paragraphs. When reading is manually restarted, ChromeVox again stops at the same place. The only way to continue reading is to navigate to a shorter paragraph and resume reading from that point (there seems to be some limitation in the number of characters that can be synthesized at one request, but changing the navigation granularity has no effect on this problem).
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

ChromeOS Version 63.0.3230.0 (Official Build) canary (64-bit) Hello, I am unable to reproduce this in Chrome OS since it does not ship pre-loaded with the Mandarin Chinese voice. If you are using Chrome on another platform (Windows, Mac, etc.), please use a screen reader native to the operating system (JAWS/NVDA, VoiceOver, etc.) I am resolving this bug. If the problem still persists in Chrome OS, please feel free to reopen this bug. Thanks, Laura |
