Scroll anchoring breaks with "Read Full Article" link

Version: Chrome Android Canary with enable-scroll-anchoring flag turned on.
OS: Android M

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Go to http://techcrunch.com/2016/04/25/the-driverless-truck-is-coming-and-its-going-to-automate-millions-of-jobs/
(2) Click "Read full article"

What is the expected output?

Scroll position should stay unchanged.

What do you see instead?

Scroll moves down to show an ad at the bottom of the page.

I was unable to reproduce this.  What device do you see it on?  What part of the viewport does the "Read full article" link occupy when you click it?  Is it consistent or intermittent?
