Plug in USB touch screen overlay 2. Swipe down to scroll page down - page swipes right 3. Swipe right - page scrolls down What is the expected behavior? With the touchscreen overlay plugged in and recognized as a HID device, when I swipe down with my fingers on the touchscreen, the page should scroll down. What went wrong? Tested this on two different devices, a HP Chromebox and an Asus device, both on the same version/branch of OS. Same results on both devices. XY axis on touchscreen is swapped. Did this work before? No Chrome version: 49.0.2623.112 Channel: stable OS Version: 7834.70.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0.0.216-r1 lsusb listing for touchscreen: Device 008: ID 0596:0001 MicroTouch Systems, Inc. Touchscreen Fixed issue by putting device in Dev mode, making partition writable and creating /etc/modprob.d/local.conf Added “usbtouchscreen swap_xy=1” to local.conf Reboot & test Success |
