"Clear browsing data" help page is wrong. |
|||||||
Issue description
Version: 50.0.2661.86 (although I expect any current version)
OS: All
What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) go to chrome://settings/clearBrowserData
(2) click on the "learn more" link at the bottom of the dialog
(3) expand "Details about the data that gets deleted"
This displays (under "Cookies, site, and plug-in data:"):
Plug-in data: Any client-side data stored by plug-ins that use the NPAPI ClearSiteData API.
NPAPI has been removed from Chrome, so this is wrong.
As I noted in issue 606621, this only clears Flash data. So it should say something like:
Flash data: Any client-side data stored by Flash.
However, any relevant text to indicate that this is only Flash specific data is suitable.
