Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/50.0.2661.87 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: Load page to edit content within a website that would have a text box full of text. Attempt to make edits as needed. What is the expected behavior? All keystrokes to show instantly within the text box. What went wrong? Any keystroke takes moments to show on the screen with a fair amount of lag between the press and the visual change in the text box. Did this work before? Yes This was originallyreported in https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=482998 last year Chrome version: 50.0.2661.87 Channel: stable OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0 This was an issue initially introduced last year and eventually resolved in https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=482998 . I believe this to be a Chrome issue and not a software issue, as other browsers do not exhibit the same behavior.

This was noticed within a CMS, however I've created a page with just the text box and the same content within, and even with just the box containing the content and nothing else, the issue still shows. http://narsk.net/other/chrometest/test.html Please let me know if there's anything else you need from my end to assist.

Unable to reproduce the issue on Win7/64 bit - Version 50.0.2661.87 m All the keyboard input is taken and shown immediately in to the text box upon typing. Can you please provide the exact Windows version details so that we can try it at our end again ? Can you also please create a new user profile and check if you still see this issue at your end ?

I'm having this issue, and I'm running Win7/64-bit - Version 50.0.2661.87 m. You need a lot of text, from top to bottom and a bunch of lines more, to reproduce the problem.

My Windows is 7 64-bit. Detailed info is Version 6.1 (Build 7601: Service Pack 1). I have attempted this on different user profiles and incognito mode with the same results. I also was able to reproduce the issue on my Linux system at my office, currently running Ubuntu 12.04 under Chrome 49 (I'm not in the office so I can't get the exact build, however it was the final one before the OS was cut-off from Chrome updates).

Yeah, input box starts to work way too slow if you copy & paste text a lot of times. Sounds like an editing issue.

Sorry for the long latency due to vocation. Assigning the bug back to yosin@ because I'm no longer in the editing team.
