You are probably looking for a change made after 377280 (known good), but no later than 377283 (first known bad). CHANGELOG URL: https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+log/0dbdea3721f4035a7945b59ca949acaaa1b48466..b515424de0aa3d62c4d64f4a73cf0bff137539c8 Most likely fallout from SVG offsetParent/offsetTop/offsetLeft/offsetWidth/offsetHeight removal (http://crrev.com/1726743002). I presume this is WONTFIX, but philipj should confirm.

Yes, looks like the site uses Dojo (1.1.2, newer version are using gBCR only it seems), and uses its coords(...) function to compute a positioning offset (left, top) for positioning of the graph (#gfxHolderOV). dojo.coords(...) use offsetParent and one of the nodes included in the offset computation is the <svg> root.

Thanks fs, I also tried the site in M49 and got the deprecation messages in dojo._getMarginBox and dojo._abs. For _abs there is a `if (d.isIE || (d.isFF >= 3))` check which explains why that code path works in Firefox. While _getMarginBox does have an `isMoz` path, it would still end up using offsetWidth/offsetHeight. So for whatever reason, that code path isn't the critical one. As expected from the dojo code, this site doesn't work in Edge either, attaching a screenshot. CC a few people at Microsoft in case they know of more such cases. I will close this as WontFix, but if there are more reports of breakage we might have to reconsider. Reporter, are you the developer for this site, or do you have a way to get in contact with them?

( Issue 463116 tracked the removal of SVGElement.offsetParent/offsetTop/offsetLeft/offsetWidth/offsetHeight.) |
