Paolo - The PrinterID has been provided. Please use this to look up the printer and check that the duplex option is available.

The printer capabilities doesn't include any duplexing information, so cloud print assumes that printer cannot print front and back.

It definitely has a duplex unit and I print double sided when printing locally (it is connected to a PC running Mac OS X).

I have the same model HL-3170CDW, and this printer has a duplex unit. Is there any update? The option is still missing.

My Brother printer broke a while ago, and it wasn't worth fixing. I got an Epson instead and duplex works fine. My suggestion is to get a different printer, as it sound like the manufacturer isn't going to fix this. |
