Lock screen goes black after restore |

Issue descriptionVersion: 52.0.2712.0 8218.0.0 OS: Chrome What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Lock the screen. (2) Close the lid. (3) Wait a few seconds for the device to sleep. (4) Reopen. What is the expected output? Wake from sleep and see lock screen. What do you see instead? Wallpaper flashes briefly then black screen. Lock screen IS actually running, just not visible. Hitting crtl+shift+q twice will recover and take the user back to the start screen. So far only able to repo on zelidrag@'s samus Marking Pri-1 but not release blocking (yet) because we've only seen it on a single device.

re #1: Yes, it's 100% reproducible here and I do have smart lock enabled. I also see this issue on my other account which does not have smart lock turned on. I am planning to reimage my device to a newer build today, will let you know if this is still there

Is this still happening? I do not see a repro locally. Can you upload logs after it happens? Also, this sounds more like a graphics/suspend issue if the wallpaper isn't visible.
