A page creates an about:blank tab and populates it with content. 2. Forget about the about:blank tab and do other things for some time. 3. Open the about:blank tab. What is the expected behavior? Additionally, can you check chrome://discards to determine if Tab Discarding automatically discarded the tab due to inactivity?

Looped the respective Dev group to further triage it. Anyways it seems to be WAI as per http://crbug.com/592189#c15 .
