Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2714.0 Safari/537.36 Example URL: http://jsfiddle.net/sao57n60/1/ Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Enable WebGL 2.0 in chrome://flags/ and restart the browser 2. Open JavaScript console 3. Go to http://jsfiddle.net/sao57n60/1/ What is the expected behavior? No error should be shown in console What went wrong? Console prints the following WebGL error: WebGL: INVALID_ENUM: texStorage2D: invalid internalformat Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? N/A Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 52.0.2714.0 Channel: canary OS Version: OS X 10.11.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0 This works in Firefox. I'd expect texStorage2D to accept compressed formats when the WEBGL_compressed_texture_s3tc extension is present. This causes issues with textures rendering correctly in WebGL 2.0 in Unity content.
