1. Select an element with a few CSS properties in a selector
2. For one of the properties, change the value to a CSS custom prop, type "var(--".
3. As soon as you type "--", everything collapses and breaks.

When workspaces is setup, you can see what's happening in the saved output: It somehow strips the semicolons from all other properties.
