This issue is reproducible on 51.0.2704.19 (Official Build) on Linux also.

This is largely dependent on the size of your resolution. Can you try a higher resolution of the display and ensure it goes away? I see the scrollbar with Edge as well.

The size of the resolution of my system is 1366 x 768(16:9), that is the highest resolution available in the display settings. And the issue is reproducible with that resolution.

The image is wider than it needs to be (it has white padding extending outside the dropshadow) thus the scrollbar is needed to allow the entire image to be seen. This is a site issue, not a chrome bug. |
