Cannot display PDF (...pdfName...)

Issue descriptionSteps to reproduce the problem: 1. Click a normal PDF download link 2. Starting the PDF Viewer acitvity 3. Toast displaying error: Cannot diplay PDF (...pdfName...) 4. Returing to browser What is the expected behavior? Download and open the PDF. What went wrong? Cann't open the PDF, but if you download it manually you can. Did this work before? Yes Used to work on older versions. Chrome version: 51.0.2693.2 Channel: stable OS Version: Android M Flash Version: You can download the PDF by long touch action, and "Save link" option.

Not sure if this is a Chromium bug. Maybe Android or PDFium?

The pdf viewer is part of google docs as far as I know. They use their own version of pdfium. Talk to Dmitri Abramov. Thanks Philip

In this instance, Chrome has delegated downloading and rendering the PDF to the Drive PDF Viewer. There was a bug where Drive PDF Viewer didn't follow redirects and caused this issue, but it has been fixed in Drive version 2.4.141. Could you please add the Drive version please (or update to the latest and check whether this solves the issue)? Thanks

Drive version 2.4.141.16.33 I can't provide a link because it's on a private web (University). I tried to find another PDF but at the moment I can't find anyone, seams like something has improved. But I still have this issue, and seams it happens when the link is a PHP view like this: http://.../mod/resource/view.php?id=398313
