Issue descriptionChrome Version: 52.0.2711.0 (Official Build) 2f8c7fcf0ca7d22c7ef943ea5e3256914bef70f1-refs/heads/master@{#387833}-32/64 bit OS: Windows 10(Touch Device) Steps: 1. Launch Chrome and navigate to chrome://help. 2. Tap/touch on 'Report an issue' button and then tap/touch on Close(cross) icon of 'Report an issue' overlay. 3. Observe. Actual: Unwanted touch keyboard is seen after tap/touch on Close(cross) icon of 'Report an issue' overlay. Expected: Touch keyboard should not be seen after tap/touch on Close(cross) icon of 'Report an issue' overlay. This is a regression issue broken in M-52, below is bisect info. Good build: 52.0.2706.0 Bad build: 52.0.2707.0 Changelog URL: https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+log/52.0.2706.0..52.0.2707.0?pretty=fuller&n=10000 Suspecting: r386700 ? Please help to reassign if your change is not the cause for this issue. Note: 1. This is touch device specific issue, same works fine on mouse click. 2. This again appears to be a problem in blink. This code in WebViewImpl is returning WebTextInputTypeTextArea when you tap on the min/close button. https://cs.chromium.org/chromium/src/third_party/WebKit/Source/web/WebViewImpl.cpp?type=cs&q=textInputType&sq=package:chromium&l=2534. You can verify this by switching the device to tablet mode by removing the keyboard and performing the same actions.
